WHY DISTILLERIES CHOOSE SINGLESHOT

THE BARREL IS THE EXPERIENCE.

Customers don't just want to taste your whiskey — they want to be part of your story. Watching it flow through the sight glass and filling their own bottle creates a memory they share on social media, with friends, and on their next visit.

THE MARGIN SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

A standard bottle becomes an $80–$200 bottle-your-own experience. Same product, same barrel, same staff — just a different way of selling it. Most customers recoup their investment in under 4 months.

EVERY TASTING WITHOUT
A BYO PROGRAM
IS MONEY ON THE TABLE

You've seen it work — customers love filling their own bottle. Now the question is how to run it consistently, safely, and at the volume your program deserves.

⚠️

VOLUME CONSISTENCY

As your program grows, inconsistent fills become a real problem — for TTB compliance and for customer experience. A calibrated sight glass takes the guesswork out of every pour.

💧

LEAK AND LOSS RISK

Improvised barrel connections work until they don't. Every drip is product loss, and a bad changeover at the wrong moment creates a mess in front of customers.

💰

REVENUE YOUR LEAVING BEHIND

If you're only running one option or limiting availability, you're missing sales. The right setup means something is always available for every customer who walks in.

THREE STEPS. ONE EXPERIENCE. EVERY TIME.

No special training. No complicated setup. Just a clean, repeatable experience your customers will talk about.

01

PLACE THE BOTTLE

Get a clean bottle on the drip tray beneath the filler. The sight glass above is ready to fill to the exact calibrated volume — consistent every time, regardless of who's operating it.

02

GET HANDS ON

Open the first valve and watch your whiskey fill the sight glass. Customers love this moment — seeing the color, the legs, the proof. It's the part they photograph. Once the sight glass is full, close the first valve then open the second valve and the bottle fills.

03

CORK, LABEL, TAKE HOME

Once filled, the customer corks and labels their bottle. It's theirs — filled by their own hands, straight from your barrel. That's the experience they tell people about.

CHOOSE YOUR SYSTEM

BUILT FOR YOUR PROGRAM

Whether you're launching your first BYO experience or scaling an existing program, there's a SingleShot configuration that fits your space, your volume, and your setup.

SINGLESHOT

For distilleries launching or running a single-barrel BYO experience. Mounts directly to your existing barrel rack — everything you need to start filling is included.

  • Dual station sight glass fillers mounted side by side

  • Both stations mount to the same barrel rack

  • Independent adjustable flow control on each station

  • Drip trays included on both stations

  • Barrel connection hardware included for both

  • Made in USA — ships ready to install

NEVER MISS A SALE

When a customer walks in and their preferred whiskey isn't available, you lose the sale. The DoubleShot means there's always something for everyone — bourbon and rye, standard and premium, whatever combination works for your program.

BARREL INSERT

An optional upgrade for distilleries that want to eliminate barrel changeover hassle and protect against product loss. A fully stainless steel tank that slides into a barrel after removing one head — giving customers the authentic barrel-filling experience with the reliability of a sealed system.

  • Fully stainless steel construction

  • Slides into a standard barrel

  • Eliminates leaks during changeover

  • Pump new product in — no moving heavy barrels

  • Compatible with SingleShot and DoubleShot

  • Made in USA

MOST CUSTOMERS ADD THIS AS THEY SCALE

You don't need the insert to get started — most distilleries launch without it. But as your program grows, the insert eliminates the two biggest operational headaches: leaks during customer sessions and the labor of rolling heavy barrels for changeovers.

THE SINGLESHOT DIFFERENCE

YOUR PROGRAM HAS PROVEN THE EXPERIENCE.
NOW LET'S SCALE IT.

You already know customers love filling their own bottle. The question is whether your current setup can keep up — consistent fills every time, clean changeovers, and a presentation that matches the premium price you're charging.

THE HOMEGROWN SETUP

  1. Estimate volume by scale or tape mark

  2. Assume temperature hasn't shifted the fill line

  3. Rely on staff technique for consistent final volume

  4. Manual barrel changeover — move, connect, hope it doesn't leak in front of a customer

VS

THE SINGLESHOT SETUP

  1. Place bottle on drip tray

  2. Open valve — sight glass fills to calibrated mark

  3. Open second valve — bottle fills to exact volume every time

  4. Barrel Insert option eliminates changeover hassle entirely

COMMON QUESTIONS

BEFORE YOU BUY,
HERE'S WHAT TO KNOW

HOW LONG DOES INSTALLATION TAKE?

Most customers complete installation in 2–3 hours. No plumbers, electricians, or certified technicians required.

WHAT TRAINING DOES STAFF NEED?

Staff can be trained in under 15 minutes. It's a simple two-valve operation.

IS BOTTLE-YOUR-OWN LEGAL IN MY STATE?

Legal in most states but regulations vary. You'll need to verify with your state ABC board. Our equipment is designed to meet TTB volume accuracy requirements.

DO CUSTOMERS OPERATE IT THEMSELVES?

Yes — that's the whole point. A staff member should always be present, but the customer does the filling. That's what creates the experience.

WHAT BOTTLE SIZES WORK?

The base model is calibrated for 750mL. We've also done 375mL and 1L on request.

DO I NEED THE BARREL INSERT?

No — most distilleries launch without it. The insert is an optional upgrade that eliminates leaks during changeover and removes the need to move heavy barrels as your program scales.
